Projects

In-App Wallet System

Developed and deployed a full-featured wallet system enabling users to deposit and manage funds in both KRW and USD using the Stripe API. Integrated the system within a larger SaaS platform with secure transaction logging and user authentication via Supabase. Implemented frontend logic in React with TypeScript, created Stripe payment intents, and handled payment success/cancellation flows. Ensured responsive design and accessibility for both web and mobile users.
Tech: React, Supabase, TypeScript, Stripe API

Home Server

Architected and maintained a secure, self-hosted personal cloud solution for file storage and management. Deployed services on an Unraid server using Docker containers, with NextCloud as the core cloud platform. Set up NGINX with SWAG (Secure Web Application Gateway) as a reverse proxy for HTTPS access, configured MariaDB for data persistence, and used Cloudflare for DNS management and DDoS protection. Automated regular backups and managed resource monitoring for optimal uptime and performance.

Education

Rochester Institute of Technology

Bachelor of Science in Computing Security Cumulative GPA: 3.39/4.00

August 2015 - December 2020

While studying at Rochester Institute of Technology, I developed a strong interest in backend systems, coding, and cybersecurity. Through labs and group projects, I got hands-on experience applying what I learned in class to real-world scenarios, which really helped me understand how to build secure and scalable systems.

Outside of coursework, I was involved in clubs like RITSEC, RC3, and SPARSA, where I took part in competitions such as IRSec and NSIC. These experiences helped me grow as a team player, problem solver, and communicator in all kinds of settings.
